Each ACTS Team is chosen randomly from past retreatants who are eligible to serve on Team. Although you do not have to be a practicing Catholic to
attend an ACTS Retreat, you do have to be a practicing Catholic to serve on an ACTS Team.
ACTS Amarillo has been hosting retreat weekends since 2000. If you went in 2002, maybe you have moved, changed email addresses or phone numbers. Sadly, even if your name is drawn, if your contact information is not up-to-date, you will not get "the call." That's why it is
critical to have the updated contact information in our system. If we can't find you, we can't call you!
If you are interested and willing to serve on a Teen Retreat, that pool of available names is much smaller, so your chances of getting called are much greater if you would be willing to put your name on that list. To serve on a Teen retreat, you must have Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Amarillo.
Finally, if you play an instrument, please let us know! Our musicians list is also very short, and we would love to have all of our musicians' names and contact for community services for the retreats and at other events.
